Why the exact birth time matters
Your Ascendant (Lagna) is the sign rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of birth. It moves through all twelve signs every day, about one sign every two hours, and it fixes the houses of every chart in the report. The divisional charts move faster still: the Navamsha (D9) changes about every 13 minutes and the Shashtiamsha (D60) every 2 minutes. Dasha dates also shift with the Moon's exact position.
Please use the time recorded on a birth certificate or hospital record. We don't offer a "time unknown" report, because most of it depends on the Ascendant and would be wrong.
